Dairy Judging

Date: April 14, 2011

Registration Deadline:  April 7, 2011

Location:  Weber County Fairgrounds

Time: 6 p.m.

Eligibility: Grades 3-12

Team or Individual: Individual only

Description:   Youth place classes of dairy and give oral reasons to explain their placing.

Awards:  Each youth receives a blue, red or white ribbon or certificate based on the Danish judging system:

·          Blue (excellent): $3 clover bucks

·          Red (good ): $2 clover bucks

·          White (fair)

Next Steps:
  •  Top senior youth are encouraged to compete in other state dairy judging contests to try and make the Utah Dairy Judging Team.
