4-H offers many county contests throughout the year and lots of judges are needed to share their positive comments and expertise. Judges are needed who are knowledgeable about the project being judged and who are capable of providing age-appropriate suggestions for improvement. The best part is that 4-H uses Danish-system judging, which means youth are evaluated against standard criteria - not each other. Judges can choose to award as many blue ribbons as they deem appropriate.
